The official website of the Muslim Council of Elders, an international body chaired by the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar. A multilingual platform that publishes the Council's news, statements, initiatives, publications and media to readers around the world, every day.
The Council speaks to governments, scholars, media and the public in several languages at once. The website is built as an editorial platform: a news section updated daily with statements and coverage, pages for initiatives and programmes, a publications library, a media gallery of photos and videos, and institutional pages about the Council, its members and its chairman. Every piece of content exists in multiple languages with correct right-to-left and left-to-right layouts, and the editorial team manages all of it from a content management system without touching code.
